E-Procurement Components

E-Procurement has four components:

• Content management
• Requisition management
• Transaction management
• Connectivity management

Content management serves to catalog the current, accessible and user-friendly to make and keep. The information and prices are, by means of this component up to date. Requisition management ensures that any user can act on their orders. With the transaction management component can order processing to suppliers via email, fax or EDI control. It is also possible to track the status of an order to follow. Connectivity management ensures that the software can communicate with the ERP system. This is the data entered on the purchase order is automatically processed in the ERP system.
